Welcome to the home of Northumberland Care Alliance working in partnership with Northumberland Care Trust Staff Development Unit to bring you the most comprehensive training services available in Northumberland.
This year's training offer builds on the 2009-10 training catalogue and incorporates the training courses that you told us you need. We listen carefully to our customer's suggestions and have responded by making a number of improvements. We have extended the range of courses and services on offer and all the details are now available within this website that we hope you will find easy to use.
The development of this website was a direct response to our customers' requests. In addition to giving you access to many useful resources, you can also view specific course details and apply for courses on-line. The web site will also advertise additional courses as they become available to give you fast and easy-access to training. Our aim is to make the process of applying for courses more user-friendly and efficient.
We are always looking for ways to improve our service so if you have any comments or suggestions we would love to hear from you and look forward to working with you soon.
Please note that Northumberland Care Alliance no longer operates as an arrangement supported by Northumberland Care Trust. Some of the independent care providers who formed part of the former arrangement have now established a new organisation, which is not connected with the Care Trust. The Care Trust continues to provide a training programme for care workers in the private and voluntary sector – for further information about this, please contact Julie Weatherston / Deb Brown on 01670 394441 or Julia Marley 01670 394468.
